Salvation Army refugee centre

We created this centre to give people who are forced to leave their homes the opportunity to find communication, hobbies, friends and support. Our centre is staffed by volunteers who can lead various activities, classes, workshops and lectures.
Here you can simply read a book in a cosy atmosphere or find information online.
You can give a class, workshop or lecture and teach others what you know.
If you are interested, please contact 22306363.

So far, we have been able to do a lot of work. In 2023 (March-December), the Centre was visited 76866 times by adults and 77104 times by children. 14400 food parcels were distributed in 2022. 15200 food parcels in 2023. In 2024 we have changed the concept of the Centre to focus more on spending quality time together. People no later than 2 months after crossing the border and receiving refugee status, they can seek a one -time financial assistance in the amount of 35 euros. (Maxima gift card for food and toiletries.) Come with the originals of documents: a plastic residence permit and an identification document.
